The purpose of Bill 25 is to modernize privacy legislation. At Caméléon, we’re committed to complying – protecting your data is important to us. What’s kept and how it’s used depends on where you are in our recruitment process.

Some important information:

• All your information is stored in our application tracking systems.
• In the event of a breach of confidentiality, you will be notified immediately.
• You can ask for your file to be deleted at any time, either by sending a request directly to info@cameleonrh.com, or simply by clicking on the delete button in any e-mail you receive from us!

Are you applying for one of our positions or considering an opportunity presented by our recruiters?

Did one of our jobs catch your eye while you were visiting our careers page? Or perhaps you’re interested in a position offered by a member of our team.

At this stage, the only information we will have in your file is that which you have shared with us, i.e.:

• Your CV
• Your city of residence
• Your contact details

As you’ve probably guessed, this information enables us to evaluate your application for the position you’ve applied for, and to contact you to follow up!

And if this opportunity isn’t the right fit, that doesn’t mean that the next one won’t be perfect! By the very nature of our business, we keep your information on file so that we can contact you again if an opportunity comes along that seems to match your professional experience.

You are meeting a member of our team for an interview

The purpose of the interview is to determine whether your experience, skills and professional interests are a good match for a particular position. We will ask you questions to make our assessment and keep the answers to evaluate your application. Interview notes are kept in your file in our systems.

A notice is included with the invitation to the interview. By accepting the interview, you agree that your notes will be kept on file. Important: these notes will never be sent to anyone outside Caméléon without your consent.

Your application is submitted to one of our employers

Please be assured that we will never send your application to an employer, or any other personally identifiable information to anyone outside Caméléon without your consent. You will receive a request for consent by e-mail to allow us to transfer your information to a specific employer, i.e. your CV and a few interview notes relevant to the position you are applying for.

This information is sent to the employer so they can properly evaluate your application.

You’re at the professional or criminal background check stage

According to our mandate with the employer, we perform the requested verifications. We will therefore ask for your written consent before we proceed with the checks. No verification will be performed without your consent.
